The position
We are looking for Cost & Budget Manager. This role is a position that drives cost efficiency on a regional scale by implementing cost control measures, analysing financial data and processing payments. It requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to foster decision-making and optimize regional spend. This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating value through financial insight, budget management, and for someone who is not afraid of payment processing routine from time-to-time.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Calculation of budgets for clinical studies in close collaboration with regional clinical study teams, including controlling support for operational excellence
- Processing payments in compliance with internal processes and guidelines, including contract review
- Continuous monitoring of cost development to ensure transparency and clear financial oversight
- Cross-functional collaboration to align financial practices with organizational objectives
- Calculation of provisions in close coordination with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration or equivalent professional experience in Finance/Controlling/Accounting
- Skilled in MS Office 365; PowerBI is a plus
- Strong numerical skills, strong financial acumen (understanding of Profit & Loss statement and basic understanding of corporate accounting), structured and proactive working style, with attention to detail and accountability
- Excellent communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups
- Fluent in Business English, German beneficial

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR 64.170 gross annual target salary per year (full time). The actual salary package depends on professional experience and qualifications. We will be happy to discuss further details in person.
