The Transformation Office is the strategic engine behind Erste Group's change initiatives. It drives the execution of Group Strategy by leading complex, cross-functional programs that help the organization adapt to fast-changing markets, technologies, and customer needs. Through a strong program infrastructure and close alignment with top management and local entities, it ensures focused execution and delivers tangible cost and revenue impact on the organization.

Additionally, the Transformation Office handles professional communication with stakeholders, sharing details on strategies, procedures, outcomes, as well as benefits and changes in daily work impacting both employees and customers.

The team consists of an international mix of colleagues coming from the consulting and banking industry as well as from within the organization.

Your Tasks

  • Support strategic initiatives through market research, competitor analysis, and internal data reviews to inform decisions and shape transformation plans.
  • Contribute to program execution by helping track project plans, KPIs, and milestones across teams, ensuring strategic alignment.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement by assisting in preparing executive presentations, coordinating workshops, and synthesizing input from across the Group.
  • Drive operational impact by spotting process improvements, supporting change communications, and promoting agile ways of working.

Your Background

  • Ongoing studies at University/University of Applied Sciences with a background in Business Administration, Economics, STEM or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus but not essential)

Our Offer

  • Exciting and challenging full-time (38.5h/week) or part-time internship (19.25h/week) between January 2026 and December 2026
