Our client, located in Schwechat, is seeking a highly motivated Accounting Manager. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of accounting operations while working closely with the Managing Director and Global Controlling. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across all accounting processes. The position also offers flexibility with one day of home office per week.
Aufgabengebiet
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and monthly/annual closings
- Ensure compliance with local GAAP, IFRS, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Act as the main point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and external partners
- Prepare financial reports, analyses, and forecasts for management and global headquarters
- Support cash flow and working capital management
- Collaborate closely with the Managing Director, Group Controlling, and other stakeholders
- Opportunity to lead and develop a small accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement
Anforderungsprofil
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, Steuerberater, etc.) is a plus
- Several years of experience in accounting, preferably in an international environment
- Strong knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Hands-on mindset and willingness to take responsibility in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus)
- Leadership experience or interest in developing team management skills
Vergütungspaket
- Für diese Position wird ein Bruttojahresgehalt von mindestens EUR 65.000,- geboten. Je nach Qualifikation und Berufserfahrung besteht die Bereitschaft zur Überzahlung.
