Customer HARPS Global is a fast-growing global manufacturer and end to end sales and distributor of infection prevention/protection products, predominantly medical and industrial gloves. HARPS Global was founded in 2015 by Malaysian entrepreneur Haziq Bin Zairel Oh, and HARPS Global acquired Sempermed in 2023. Financial Planning & Analysis Controller (m/w/d) located in Vienna.

The role

You are responsible for driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision making processes for the European entities Austria, UK, HU and in future France. You will work closely with senior leadership to provide financial insights to drive business growth and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to support strategic decision-making.
• Performance Monitoring: Track financial performance against targets, analyze results, and identify improvement areas.
• Reporting & Insights: Create reports, dashboards, and KPIs to deliver clear insights to leadership.
• Business Partnering: Work closely with departments to align financial plans with operational drivers.
• Strategic Support: Provide data analysis, scenario modeling, and business cases to guide key decisions.
• Investment & Efficiency: Assess investment opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and revenue growth potential.
• Process Optimization: Continuously improve financial tools, processes, and reporting standards.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure data accuracy, internal control adherence, and regulatory compliance.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks through market analysis and internal assessments.

Requirements

• Finished studies in business administration with focus on Finance; alternatively at least commercial college (HASCH/HAK) plus further education in Finance/Controlling (e.g. Controller Institute, etc).
• At least 3-5 years solid experience as Controller in a similar corporate environment, advantageous: experience with manufacturing forecasts.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, financial modelling.
• Perfect in German and English both verbal and written (at least C1).
• MS Office experience, especially proficiency in Excel, using business intelligence software is essential.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, able to work independently.
• Ready to travel occasionally to Wimpassing (NÖ), Sopron (HU), Singapore and Malaysia.
