Payroll & Administration Specialist Central Europe experienced in Austrian payrolling (f/m/d)
Permanent position, full-time (38.5 hours per week)

Your profile
- fluent German, very good working knowledge of English
- You bring minimum 3 years of experience from payrolling in Austria ideally in a multinational environment
- High level of MS Office skills (especially Excel)
Your Tasks in detail
Reporting to HR department manager, this role is responsible for delivering payroll and administration services across the Central European Region for about 70 employees
Payrolling services
- You provide timely payroll preparational data to outsourced payroll provider (ADP company). Liaise with outsourced payroll services via ADP System to provide payroll information.
- Responsible for controll of payroll services delivered by outsourced payroll provider (ADP company).
- Be a point of contact for Associates and for the business on all employee- payment- related matters. This includes areas such as time and absence management, for both permanent and non-permanent associates
- Responsible to check and distribute payroll reports prepared by the service provider to Finance or other stakeholders. (booking lists)
- Preparation on annual coverage examination (Deckungsprüfung)
- Ensure HR administrative processes are promoted and managed timely and accurately.
- Supporting the HR department manager for flexible working requests, maternity cases, retirement request in the whole Central region
- Support the management and development of on-boarding and off-boarding process and procedures with help of payroll provider ADP company.
- Ensure the input of accurate HR data on the HR System in a timely manner - Associate Central (SAP SuccessFactor).
- Run standard and ad-hoc HR reports from the HR System and create internal reporting for HR management and for the business.
- Support in the process to ensure policies are continually reviewed and updated in line with Headquarters requirements and legal compliance.
- First contact for Associates in all payroll related matters in the 4 countries (AT,CZ,SK,HU).
- Supports CE budget process
- Preparation of serial letters
- Work on projects to continously improve processes and services related to payrolling and administration
Qualifications, skills and experience required/desirable:
- Evidence of successfully undertaking previous Austrian Payroll administration work for at least 3 years
- Understanding the differences in the payrolling system in the countries within the Central region
- Ability to undertake analytical work with good numerical skills.
- Ability to interact well with people at all levels within the organisation. English very good working knowledge is a must.
- Comfortable working in international business with matrix structures, understanding of cross-culture differences and management practices highly desirable.
- Works well under pressure and tight deadlines; planning and prioritising time efficiently whilst maintaining quality.
- Strong team player with an enthusiastic, can-do approach.
- Strong customer focus balanced with commercial awareness.
- Very good excel skills

The gross annual salary is EUR 55 000 on a full-time basis (38.5 hours/week) with a possibility of overpayment based on your qualification. We do not offer a company car for this position.
