Senior Accountant / Bilanzbuchhalter (f/m/d)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Independent management of day-to-day accounting, including asset accounting, and preparation of annual financial statements up to the preliminary balance sheet in accordance with UGB (Austrian Commercial Code)
- Responsible for monthly and annual financial closings
- Preparation of reports and further development of cost accounting
- Dunning and receivables management
- Payment processing and transactions
- Preparation of monthly VAT returns (UVA)
- Assisting with the budgeting process
- Key point of contact for all operational accounting matters and tax queries
- Optimization of ongoing accounting processes and identification of potential for automation
REQUIREMENTS
- Certified Senior Accountant qualification (Bilanzbuchhalterprüfung)
- Several years of relevant professional experience in accounting, preferably in a tax advisory/accounting firm
- ·Proficiency in BMD NTCS and MS Office, particularly Excel
- Independent and structured working style
- Excellent affinity for numbers and strong attention to detail
- High level of commitment, flexibility, and strong team spirit
- Strong communication skills
- Resilient under pressure and highly reliable
- Strong willingness to learn and pursue continuous professional development
- Very good command of written and spoken English

Salary
The actual minimum salary is 2,577 EUR gross per month (on a 40-hour basis), the actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience. The salary is paid 14 times per year.
