The Rating & Financials team is responsible for the operational execution and quality assurance of financial statement analyses and corporate rating processes across Erste Group.As business owners of the groupwide financial analysis tool, we ensure its continuous development, data integrity and effective usage across subsidiaries through close collaboration between business, risk and IT stakeholders.While Run-the-Bank (RtB) ensures stable and compliant operations, Change-the-Bank (CtB) focuses on improving and transforming processes, particularly through automation, digitalization and the implementation of new rating models.We work across functions to continuously enhance workflows, tools and frameworks, contributing to a modern, scalable and future-oriented rating environment.

Your Tasks

As part of the CtB stream, you will contribute to initiatives and projects aimed at improving rating and financial analysis processes across the Group.

You will:

  • Contribute to automation and digitalization initiatives in rating and financial analysis workflows
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of rating models, particularly for Corporate and Specialized Lending portfolios
  • Collaborate with risk, IT, model development and business stakeholders across the Group
  • Analyze existing processes and help identify opportunities to increase efficiency and scalability
  • Support the ongoing development and usability of the financial analysis system
  • Take part in testing, coordination and implementation activities within projects

Your Background

  • Initial professional experience in banking, credit risk or financial analysis (e.g. ~1-3 years or relevant internships)
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting basics
  • Proactive, structured and curious mindset, with the willingness to take ownership of topics
  • Interest in automation, digitalization and process optimization
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams
  • Relevant educational background in economics, finance or a related field - or equivalent practical experience
  • Good communication skills and the ability to contribute and follow through on tasks independently
  • Fluency in English; German is a strong advantage
  • Basic exposure to IT topics, data, tools or testing is beneficial
  • Strong team spirit and openness to learning and development
