Cost Engineer (m/w/x) | Gliwice, PL
YOUR TASKS
As a cost engineer with focus on the Product Lifecycle Calculations, you are the driving force within the technical product development department to ensure a timely and accurate wiring harness calculation within all engineering phases
- Ensure an accurate & competitive target costing on component level for stamped and injection moulded parts.
- Balance fulfilment of internal requirements and interests (e.g. Sales, Purchasing, Project and Portfolio Management, Manufacturing Engineering) to keep existing calculation models lean and efficient.
- Ensure compliance of solutions with customer requirements, legal legislation, norms, internal regulations and international standards
- Keep databases up-to-date in appropriate cycles.
- Analyze and update costs within change requests.
- Participation in project management related tasks.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 5+ years of relative work experience
- Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing cost engineering functions, which include cost estimating, cost control, and cost analysis, in the field and the home office
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
- German and English skills, both written and spoken
